Faces

I may not have seen the world, but have seen people around me. I have seen their faces and in there seen their obscure fear. I realize how they avoid showing them on their faces, yet their face and their eyes betray them. But, Nothing seems to bother me cause I am here to spread the smile, share a laugh and make the world a happier place. All I need is to CLICK cause people always
'SMILES BACK ' at the camera. I am here to spread Joy and Cheer. "SMILE PLEASE"

Hello, I am Sreyan Mullick Chowdhury. Here, I am writing my second blog. Its going to be a short one yet it covers a lot of feeling that goes on inside me when I clicking people's photograph.

Two forces works together inside me :

1. 'Lets do something new. Let them get amazed"

2.  'If......'

"If I FAIL"

If I fail what will they think about me ?

Will the other person think me to be "ANOTHER DP-grapher"

<Its a term defining the people whose photos are used as social networking display pictures>

I DON"T want to be ANOTHER. I am ME.

I DON'T want to be a DP-grapher. I capture MOMENTS.

(Its a whole different story that people find my photographs to have no alternate use than that of a DISPLAY PICTURE)

But as soon as I click the shutter or look through the viewfinder and there among all the f-stops and Exposure values written on the Viewfinder Screen , I see that smile..."If...." changes into...

"AS IF I CARE WHAT OTHER'S THINK."

I KEEP SEARCHING.
Searching for those smiling faces.
Cause I want the world to be
     Full of Joy and Cheer.

So I JUST CLICK AWAY !
     That gives me PEACE.

  1. Who the hell asked you to stop? Your blog post is amazing. The photographs, I haven't seen. Much better and refined than what you have shown me. Just take out sometime from your busy schedule and start writing again.

  2. Your post very lucidly brings out the mixture of thoughts in a photographer's mind and let's each of these thoughts present itself in its own unique way and is not presented as one homogenous mixture of feelings. Very impressive. Loved it! Waiting for your upcoming posts! :)
